Overview of Solar Charge Controller by Enertech

The MPPT solar charge controller is a charge controller embedded in the MPPT algorithm to maximize the amount of current that enters the battery from the PV module. The main principle is to extract the maximum available power from the PV module by making the PV module operate at the most effective voltage maximum powerpoint.

MPPT is just a DC-to-DC converter. Its working principle is to take a DC input from a PV module, change it to AC, and then convert it back to a different DC voltage and current to make the PV module match the battery.

The solar charge controller constantly monitors the photovoltaic output voltage and compares it with the battery voltage to determine what optimal voltage the photovoltaic needs to operate in order to effectively charge the battery with the optimal current. The voltage change is affected by the servo stabilizer installed in the system.
